5 Full Weeks In! Time has been absolutely flying by! The first 5 weeks have brought about some cravings, mood changes (sorry Courtney), a few missed meals but the one thing that has stayed consistent is my determination for success. My training has been unbelievable. I’m feeling much stronger overall and my mobility is also improving as this is a focus point when it comes to posing. I have been lifting weights every single day during the first 2 phases (4 Weeks) of the program.
I am now onto Phase 3 of my training and nutrition. I now am running my training on a Push Day, Leg Day, Pull Day and the 4th day now just strictly cardio and abs. The “rest” day is very much needed with the intensity of the workouts only increasing. My body is sore but thats just part of it. I have gone over to AbyWellness in Carmel, IN for some cryotherapy and normatec which has expedited my recovery time greatly. After visiting them it’s like my little aches and pains magically disappear.
Now to what I’m very excited about! With this new diet change I am allowed a cheat meal every 4th day for dinner! This past week I utilized that whole heartedly as the Team went out to celebrate Zach’s birthday at an Italian restaurant, Buca Di Beppo. The place is phenomenal, each plate serves 3 people with a large serving 5 people! I ordered myself a small Lasagna and shared some appetizers with others. I was able to finish the entire thing and within an hour or so of settling down I continued the dinner with my weakness, some Ice Cream.
Being able to be normal out and about with friends was absolutely amazing. Not having to follow structure for just one meal allowed myself to let loose and let go of all the urges I had built up inside. Needless to say I am greatly looking forward to this weeks cheat meal Wednesday night! My meal is still up in the air. There’s just too many choices I can’t decide!
My bodyweight touched down to the 178’s this week as well! Cardio is doing its job and I cannot wait to continue this process. Just 13 more weeks until the final product is seen.
