What’s up everyone! Today we are going to go over the STARTING POSITIONING for Squats. Note: there are multiple ways to achieve a big squat. The way I coach the squat works for the vast majority!
Often overlooked, the starting position of the squat will be a large determining factor to whether the squat is done efficiently. Poor starting position improperly loads muscle groups and is simply not efficient. It’s a “work smarter, not harder” kinda thing.
Loading our body with a heavy bar on our back in a weak position is sure to lead to injuries, imbalances, plateaus and surely frustration.
