Raise your hand if you want a bigger chest! If you happen to have a bird chest, or you’re like many other ambitious gym goers where big is never big enough, chances are you’re raising that hand high in the sky. Well let it be known, there is hope! You can achieve that gorilla chest you’ve always been chasing by putting in consistent work day in and day out.
Here’s the game plan. Monday through Friday for 8-12 weeks you will be dumbbell benching (flat or incline) for a minimum of 5 sets of 10-20 reps at the end of your workout. On Saturday & Sunday you will perform 100 push-ups total in the least amount of sets possible. There is no certain rep scheme or methodology to follow when doing the dumbbell benching. That means you must switch sets/reps and incline/flat bench up every day in order to constantly shock your muscles and spark that growth in your chest that you’ve been looking for. Challenge yourself on every rep of every set and I can guarantee you will see extreme results.
An example week would go as followed
Monday- 5×20 Flat DB benchpress
Tuesday- 5×10 incline DB benchpress
Wednesday- 5×10 Flat DB benchpress
Thursday- 5×20 incline DB benchpress
Friday-5×15 Flat DB benchpress
Saturday- 100 push-ups (least amount of sets possible)
Sunday- 100 push-ups (least amount of sets possible)
