My First Month in Indy
Brad Munford – @BradMunford13
The first time I walked into Iron Valley Barbell was like the first time a kid goes to Disneyland. You can read all you want about it, but it doesn’t do it justice until you experience it for yourself. A little over a month later and it still feels surreal to me. Being able to walk around this gym and train alongside some of the strongest people I’ve ever me, but more importantly, the best human beings I’ve ever had the privilege to meet. Leaving my family and pretty much everything I’ve ever known back home was an extremely tough decision to make but I know wholeheartedly that it was the right decision. What I’ve already learned in my short amount of time here is so much more than you can ever get from watching videos or reading articles. If you’re reading this, you owe it to yourself to surround yourself with people that will push you and that you can learn from daily, in whatever field it may be for you. More than anything else, the people around you will determine your future. Take control of your life and make that leap.
