Most people develop a set routine in which they follow day in and day out. They wake up at the same time everyday, drive the same way to work, eat the same foods everyday and many other things that become so accustomed to their schedule they don’t even notice it anymore. We constantly stay on the path of least discomfort making sure were don’t venture out too far of our comfort zones. Having a set routine isn’t always a bad thing. Numerous successful people thrive on the way they structure their days in ways that best suits their comfort, but even they get thrown curveballs daily they have to work and structure around. I advise you to do something new or uncomfortable at least once a week. If you aren’t a morning person I challenge you to one day a week wake up before the sun and start your day. If you’re bad at public speaking then start going out in public and striking up conversation with strangers for practice. If you get uncomfortable or scared by stepping foot in the gym with everybody then attack the fear head on and sign up for that gym membership. See how just changing one detail of your day can have a huge and positive impact to your life. You should always be putting yourself in situations that make you uncomfortable. The only thing that should stay the same is change.
