Griffin Wallizer grew up in Indianapolis and attended Anderson University where he played four years of college football. Working out in that collegiate environment gave him a different feeling and was something he was searching for in the offseason, as well as post-graduation. He followed Zach Homol for a few years before Iron Valley ever existed. The accolades that Zach had accrued and the amount of knowledge and motivation that he gave back was something that Griffin loved to see.
When he found out that Zach was opening a gym in the area he knew that he had to check it out. Since he was still in college at the time, he would work out at IVB during his time off. He has since graduated and can think of nowhere better to call home. Iron Valley pushes everyone forward and challenges them to raise their expectations.
With college football behind him, Griffin competes in the United States Powerlifting Association (USPA). His best total to date is a 1322 but he hopes to beat that when he competes in Nationals on July 8th. With the intensity he’s been showing at the Valley, we have no doubt that he’ll be able to do just that and he’s got his whole iron family rooting him on every step of the way.
